		<description>As far as reusable bags go, polypropylene bags are the least &#039;green&#039; but they are still a better choice than the single use plastic bags.  There are lots of choices available to consumers these days.  I think every family should have about eight reusable bags.  I always keep my eye out for free or cheap ones.</description>

		<description>Thank you for this post.  I completely agree that using polypropylene bags are not &quot;green&quot; and should not be touted as such by businesses.  This is a form of greenwashing.  A more sustainable solution would be to use a shopping bag made of hemp, organic cotton, recycled plastic bottles (PET), repurposed materials from unwanted clothing, shower curtains etc. Let&#039;s all do our part and will can reduce our dependence on foreign oil, reduce the number of wildlife deaths by plastic bags and preserve the planet for future generations, not to mention it is so unfashionable to use unsustainable plastic bags reuseable ones or not!
